A memorable Maternity shoot in Hyatt Gachibowli, Hyderabad. A truly scenic location complimented by fine maternity gowns and a wonderful couple.
The briefing
This couple found us via Google and briefed us about what they wanted. They were expecting their first baby and wanted a Maternity shoot in Hyatt Gachibowli, Hyderabad which looked classy but were on a budget. The expecting mother had some wonderful gowns and wanted to try about three-four of them. The couple sent us some references and wanted us to replicate them as much as possible. It was terrific to know that this couple trusted our ability to do the maternity photoshoot since this was our very first paid maternity session. We quoted a very reasonable amount to which the couple agreed. We decided the date and completed the formalities.
Location & Plan
The location chosen by this couple was a 5-star hotel in Gachibowli, Hyderabad — Hyatt. We decided to start the shoot at around 3:30 p.m. so that we could get a good amount of time in the Golden Hour. Since the mother wanted to change 3-4 gowns, we wanted to keep it very simple so that the dress change can happen quickly. We decided to shoot in natural light since we did not get permission to use strobes. Thankfully, the light was good and we were able to produce some excellent images. Choosing a location such as a hotel or a resort helps very much because there is lot of privacy to do the shoot. The expecting mother also gets a room to change.
